The National Cashew Association of Nigeria (NCAN) is set to revolutionise the country’s cashew industry through a two-day event featuring cutting-edge technology innovations and inclusive policy discussions. Scheduled for January 24 to 25, 2024, at the Best Western Plus Hotel in Enugu, Nigeria, as scheduled below:

Day 1: National Cashew Day and cashew season flag-off ceremony

The opening day will kick off with the celebration of National Cashew Day, highlighting the significance of both cashews and coffee in Nigeria’s agricultural landscape. The Cashew Season Flag-Off Ceremony is expected to draw attention to the beginning of the cashew season, setting the stage for discussions on advancements in cultivation, harvesting, and processing.

 

Day 2: Stakeholders meeting on developing National Cashew Policy

The second day of the event will witness a crucial stakeholders’ meeting focused on formulating a comprehensive national cashew policy.
