The Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) of the United Nations is organising a poster competition in commemoration of the 2025 World Food Day.
The contest is open to children and youths between the ages of five and 19, living anywhere in the world.
The announcement was posted on the FAO official X page, explaining that posters can only be submitted using the entry form provided, and each person can submit only one entry.
It added that posters can be drawn, painted, sketched, or made with mixed media or digital tools, stating that photographs, AI-generated content are not allowed, but can be used for ideas or editing and must be explained clearly how it was used.

It noted that text on the poster is optional, but if used, it must be under 25 words or 100 characters, while participants should not include personal information like name, school, or age.
The artwork must be original and free of logos or photos of people, as participants are encouraged to read about the World Food Day theme in the activity book, as only the Joint Photographic Experts Group (JPEG) digital files would be accepted.
Submissions are now open and would close on November 7, 2025.
